How big are the RV spaces?
RV spaces are 18' x 36'.

When can I come in to park?
We encourage RV's to come in on Friday and leave on Sunday. It's a lot easier to get around before the crowds come in. Cars can only come in the day of Thunder after 9:00 a.m.

Do I need to do anything special with my RV when I come in on Friday?
Yes! Please place your parking pass in your window on the driver's side. If we do not see the parking pass we will have your RV towed at your expense.

What should I do with all of my trash?
Please take your trash with you.

What roads will be closed?
Road closure decisions are made by the municipalities and the police departments. Usually, Woerner Avenue and Missouri Avenue close early Saturday morning along with Exit 0. Check the driving directions page for updated road closure information.

When do the roads close?
Roads are closed at the discretion of the Police. Usually, the roads near Water Tower Square start to close around 4:30 p.m. Again, this is at the discretion of the Police. The roads may close at 2:00 p.m. if the parking lots are full. They may not close until 10:00 p.m.

Do you have a phone or bathroom for public use?
No. You can use one of the port-a-pots or payphones located on the riverfront.

Are there hook-ups for my RV?
No. There are no hook-ups or emptying facilities.

Can I bring a car along in addition to my RV?
Yes.  You can bring a car along, but the car has to fit inside the 18' x 36' parking space with your RV. If it does not, then you will have to move the car off of Lot "A".  All cars not fitting in their spaces will be towed at the owner's expense.

Can I come and go the day of Thunder?
Yes you may come and go the day of Thunder, BUT ONLY UNTIL 1:00pm.  After 1:00pm, no one will be allowed a "pass out" of the park.  If you leave, you will not be allowed back in.
